Speaking Life Through Faith and Service
"A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
- Proverbs 18:20-21Our Mission Statement
"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."
- 1 John 4:20-21We believe this scripture encompasses the whole law of what a Christian is and should be doing, summed up as loving God and loving one another.
Death and Life Are in the Power of the Tongue
At Praising Jesus Ministries, we believe that our words shape our reality. Proverbs 18:20-21 teaches us that we will eat the fruit of our tongues—whether that fruit brings life or death depends on how we choose to speak.
Speaking Life
- "I can do all things through Christ"
- "God is working all things for my good"
- "I am blessed and highly favored"
- "My family is covered by the blood of Jesus"
- "Healing is flowing through my body"
- "God's provision is abundant in my life"
The Fruit of Our Words
When we speak life, we see:
- Broken relationships restored
- Hope rising in desperate situations
- Faith growing in our community
- Healing manifesting in bodies
- Joy replacing depression
- Victory overcoming defeat
Our Declaration
"We declare that our tongues are instruments of blessing. We speak life, hope, and faith into every situation. We use our words to build up, not tear down. We prophesy God's promises over our community, and we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!"

Meet Pastor Allen Ramey

The Power of Words Changed My Life
My name is Allen Ramey, and this is my testimony of how God used Proverbs 18:20-21 to transform my life. For decades, I spoke death over myself—"Just quit," "I'm worthless," "I'll never change." Working the oil rigs and caught in the grip of drug dealing and addiction, my negative words became my reality. I was literally eating the bitter fruit of my tongue, destroying my relationship with my daughter and my future.
But God showed me that just as death is in the power of the tongue, so is LIFE. In 1999, I heard His quiet voice say, "Follow me." That day, I made a choice to change what I spoke. Instead of "I can't," I began declaring "I can do all things through Christ!" Instead of cursing my circumstances, I started praising Jesus. The transformation was miraculous—my words of faith became my new reality.
Now, over two decades later, I've learned that praise is powerful. Every time we speak God's promises instead of our problems, we're choosing life. This is why I founded Praising Jesus Ministries—to help others discover that their breakthrough begins with their words. When we praise instead of complain, declare instead of doubt, and bless instead of curse, we eat the good fruit of our lips. Your tongue holds the power to change your life. Choose life. Choose praise. Choose Jesus.
